The event provides a platform for good interaction between participating unit and the shopping community, so as to create goodwill, enhance brand preference, brand loyalty and for participating partners to fulfill their CSR by giving back to society quality products, services and activity prizes. There are booth games for family members, especially for children, stage performances and colouring contests for children.
Miss Malaysia World 2008, Miss Soo Wincci, did a special appearance at the event and rendered a few songs. Other performances includes a Magic Show & Mask Changing Act.
The main attraction of the event was the Sunshine Girls Competition. It is a national talent competition for girls aged between 16 to 21 years old. The top winners were awarded university scholarships worth more than RM 100,000 in total by Guest of Honour YBhg Puan Sri Datin Seri Dr. Susan Cheah, EXCO Member of Sunway Group, with courtesy of Jeffrey Cheah Foundation.
FusionExcel was one of the major sponsors among others which include Canon, Magnum, Sunway Group and Habib Jewelry to name a few.
FusionExcel was represented by its Event Manager Mr Patrick Chan, FE "Hope For Children" Ambassador and Advisor for MMW 2011 Ms. Maggie Loo and Director Leader SP Wong at the event.
Mr Patrick Chan presented a special gift to Puan Sri Datin Seri Dr. Susan Cheah and Mr Koo Cheng the CEO of Sin Chew Daily. He also presented FE Quantum Science products to all the participants, the judges as well as to the past year Sunshine Girls winners.
