FE India introduces Quantum Pendant to World Class Cyclist Saurab Dahal in Pune, India. Saurab Dahal a young boy of 22 years is touring the world alone on his bicycle with the mission “World Peace & Harmony” and “Education for all Children”. Recently he was in Pune where Directors Vivek Baviskar, Maniesh & Pooja Guptaa introduced FE’s Quantum Pendant to him. He was surprised to see the instant results he witnessed in the demos. And after seeing the full QP presentation he said “I feel great to wear QP. Before this I was able to travel maximum up to 150 km daily on my bike. But now that I have QP’s power with me I can ride up to 200kms daily for sure and can achieve my goal of travelling through 150 countries sooner!”

McCurry Too Spicey For McDonald’s

In a classic example of “David versus Goliath”, McCurry – a small food business company triumphs in identity rights against global fast food giant McDonald’s over the use of the ‘Mc’ trademark. The Wall Street Journal and The New Straits Times managed to highlight this “underdog” victory.





After spending eight years, and in his own words, “a substantial sum”, A.M.S.P. Suppiah and wife Kanageswary, were relieved when met at their modest Indian eatery. Kanageswary said the word, ‘McCurry’, was culled from Malaysian chicken curry, one of the specialities of the restaurant that employs 18 workers.

The publicity from the case has also earned the qualified accountant enquiries from abroad to franchise the McCurry name. Suppiah, 55, was interviewed by Al-Jazeera TV, Reuters and other international news services and television channels. He started McCurry in 1999, but never thought that the day would come when he would be confronted by Mcdonald’s in court.

Since April, when the Court of Appeal ruled that McDonald’s did not have a monopoly over the ‘Mc’ prefix, offers came from Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Britain, United States and Australia to use the ‘McCurry’ trademark and for joint ventures of corporate identity.

Our 2 families, Han and myself were actually celebrating Mother's day in Ah Tuan Ee's restaurant in SS2 (next to New Paris) when we showed FE's MLP to Mr. & Mrs. Cheah. Unbelievable !!!
