FusionExcel is proud to be the Main Sponsor for the Global Women's Summit 2011, which was held at the Sunway Resort Hotel & Spa on 23rd July 2011.
The Event was officiated by Y.B. Senator Dato' Ir. Donald Lim, Malaysia's Deputy Minister of Finance, who congratulated Puan Sri Datin Seri Dr Susan Cheah, the EXCO of Sunway group and the Chairperson of the 1 Caring Heart Malaysian, and Mr Paul Ting, Founder CEO of FusionExcel for taking on such an initiative to collaborate with Dr Paula Fellingham, Founder of the Women's Information Network group from United States to bring awareness of the current issues faced by women of Malaysia and women of the world today.
Among the VIPs who attended the Event and press conference, in addition to Y.B. Dato’ Ir. Donald Lim and Puan Sri Datin Seri Dr Susan Cheah, were Prof. Datin Clara Chee, Dato’ Lawrence Chan, Datuk Danny Ooi and Puan Sri Anita Aqeela Hiong.
FusionExcel was represented by its Event Manager Mr Patrick Chan, FE “Hope For Children” Ambassador and MMW2011 Advisor Ms Maggie Loo, FE Canada Licensee Dr Annie Lim, Presidential Directors Suresh Zeevill & Gary Gan, Director Leader SP Wong and Miss Malaysia World 2009 Ms Thanuja Ananthan.
On behalf of FusionExcel, Mr Patrick Chan presented a special gift of appreciation to Y.B. Dato' Ir. Donald Lim in the presence of Puan Sri Datin Seri Dr. Susan Cheah, Datuk Danny Ooi, Dr. Paula Fellingham and Sheriffah Noor Khamseah Al-Idid.
The Event was also graced with two very special occasions. Datuk Danny Ooi of Malaysian Book of Records presented Puan Sri Datin Seri Dr. Susan Cheah with the award for the largest gathering of parents in Malaysia for the 1Malaysia Parents’ Day. The second was the launching of a new book entitled "Women and Innovation" by Y.B. Dato’ Ir. Donald Lim together with Puan Sri Susan Cheah and the author of the book, Sheriffah Noor Khamseah Al-Idid herself.
FE sponsored Miss Malaysia World 2011 Finalists who were undergoing a 1 month training stint at Sunway Resort Hotel & Spa were also present at the summit.
The Global Women’s Summit, Malaysia featured many amazing speakers from a wide variety of backgrounds and expertise who speak about issues affecting women today. The theme of this summit is "Enlighten Women’s Minds and Empower Women’s Hearts for a Better World".
The Women’s Information Network (WIN) headed by Dr Paula Fellingham is the largest worldwide media and social network of women helping women. The WIN community is presenting Global Women’s Summits in 12 countries worldwide this year --- UK, Netherlands, Kenya, India, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Australia, New Zealand, China, Canada, USA and Brazil.
Dr. Paula Fellingham, who met FE's Founder CEO Paul Ting in Toronto with Dr Annie Lim, was so impressed with FusionExcel products when Presidential Director Suresh Zeevill performed the demos on her.
