Miss World 2010 Attends Official Launch Of Miss Malaysia World 2011 Pageant At HQ

It was a historic moment for both FE and Malaysia with the visit of Miss World 2010, Ms Alexandria Mills (USA) together with the Chairman of Miss World Organisation, Mrs Julia Morley and the 1st Runner Up Ms Emma Wareus (Botswana) to attend the Official Launch of Miss Malaysia World 2011 sponsored by FE. This is the first time in 25 years that a reigning Miss World visited Malaysia and the first time ever that the top 2 Winners visited Malaysia together. FE is proud to be instrumental in creating this historic moment.

From the moment the Miss World entourage arrived at KLIA on the evening of 20th Jan 2011, they were accorded with VVIP treatment, including a Rolls Royce to transport them (courtesy of Puan Sri Susan Cheah of the Sunway Group), police outriders, etc.

The Official Launch held at FE's HQ on 21st January 2011 was attended by many VIPs and Celebrities including Miss World India 2010 Manasvi Mamsai, Mr Mohan Singh, the Mayor of Pune, India, Puan Sri Susan Cheah, Datin Clara Chee (Founder, Clara Beauty Group), Dato Sri Foo Sae Heng (President of The Federation of Hainan Asociation Malaysia), Dato Khatijah Ibrahim (Chairperson MASIF - Music, Arts & Style International Festival), Dato Lam Peng Chong, Tan Sri Dr Devaki Krishnan, etc. Many FE's Presidential Directors from Malaysia and overseas attended as well.

It is an honour for FE to be a major Sponsor of Miss Malaysia World 2011. The Miss Malaysia World 2011 Finals will be held on 20th August 2011 at the Sunway Resort Convention Hall.

FE would like to thank Mrs Julia Morley, Chairman and Chief Executive of Miss World Organisation for her presence here in Malaysia.

The Miss World Contest is the world's most prestigious beauty pageant. It celebrated its 60th year last year with a record 115 countries participating and is firmly established as the world's most watched annual event with an annual audience of 1 billion people. The President of the Republic of South Africa, Jacob Juma, has this to say of the Miss World Contest.

"It brings nations of the world together and is an important platform for promoting unity and togetherness amongst all of us. This contest also promotes economic activity, especially tourism, amongst world nations and encourages people to people contact and co-operation".

FE is proud to be associated with such a world class event.

As global platforms, both FusionExcel and the Miss World Organisation share common goals, especially the goal of helping the less fortunate children of this world. Miss World Organisation's theme of "Beauty With A Purpose" has helped raise over 250 Million Pounds or Rm1 Billion to help less fortunate children throughout the world. FusionExcel's Social Entrepreneur "Hope For Children" Charity Program, even though only 3 years old, is fast growing and innovative (for eg our "1 Million Sewing Machines For India" Campaign ) and has helped thousands of less fortunate children in this region. It is FusionExcel''s sincere hope that by collaborating with the Miss World Organisation we can achieve our goals faster.

By sponsoring the Miss Malaysia World 2011 Pageant, FusionExcel hopes to bring more awareness and branding to FusionExcel and Hope For Children.
