This year, in Canada, we are so excited to join in FusionExcel's "Hope For Children” World Carnival Day, celebrating children worldwide. Our FusionExcel Team worked with a team of volunteers from The New Earth Children Family Centre in organizing and planning our first "Hope For Children" event here. The event was attended by Michelle LeRoy (President of The New Earth Children Family Centre), Dr Annie (Founder of L.I.F.E. Children Foundation), FE Presidential Directors Patrick and Bee, and a team of FE Directors.
What an amazing afternoon for the children in Ontario, Canada on May 29th 2011 at Scotsdale Farm!
Scotsdale Farm, a special natural heritage feature of Niagara escarpment is a designated World Biosphere Reserve by the UN and presents visitors with 531 acres (215 hectares) of pastoral countryside. Scotsdale Farm has been used as a film set for various projects over the years such as:
•The Recruit starring Al Pacino & Colin Farrell, 2003
•The Long Kiss Goodnight starring Geena Davis & Samuel L. Jackson, 1996
•Psi Factor: Chronicles of the Paranormal with Dan Aykroyd, 1996
•The Campbells TV series, 1986
It was a beautiful location for our outdoor picnic Event.
The Event was a day for children to come together, to play, and be Free! Most importantly, a day to explore what Mother Earth has installed for them, a day away from video and computer games, a day to just be and play and have fun! We invited children with special needs (autism and down syndrome) to join us in the Celebration. As much as we think of only underprivileged children who require our support, we believe all children require us to show them love and support! Children are our future (our tagline says it "Let's give our future leaders a good start") and we believe it is important to show them there is Hope in our planet and there is Hope in believing they can be whoever they want to be in life.
The day was filled with many activities for children of all ages (Toddlers to Teenagers) from 11:00am to 3:00pm. We had face painting, balloon sculptures and clowns. We had a section for children to learn yoga, a section on storytelling and puppet shows, a section for crafts - children were making crowns and tiaras and animal sculptures, a music centre where children just plays with musical instruments and create music, a sports centre providing them with different sports equipments such as soccer balls, mini - basketballs, footballs, frisbees, kites and so on to play and lastly, a food section providing the children with healthy snacks, fruits and drinks.
We had many parents throughout the day bringing their babies, toddlers and children out for a wonderful picnic enjoying the weather, nature and activities. Many of the parents joined in the activities with the children as well. It was truly a day for both small and big kids, I would say. We gave away FusionExcel's Quantum Science products as lucky draw prizes.
The day ended with a Water Blessing Ceremony which was held next to a stream within the farm, in alignment with Dr. Emoto's research. Every child that attended left home with a gift bag and a Quantum Power band on their hand!
