FusionExcel Founders And PD Rachel Thomas Donated Generously Towards Establishing of Children Home Bethesda House

REPORT BY PRESIDENTIAL DIRECTOR RACHEL THOMAS.

FE Founders & Presidential Director Rachel Thomas recently donated generously towards the establishing of the Children Home Bethesda House.

Bethesda House, Hope for Children Mission Centre was officially opened and dedicated by the Reverend Dr. Sam Kurian Thomas. It was well attended by Social Entrepreneurs of FusionExcel International. Presidential Director Rachel Thomas spoke about FusionExcel’s Social Entrepreneurship Program that is making a powerful impact in the lives of countless children in Malaysia and surrounding nations. Ms. Maggie Loo, FusionExcel’s International Ambassador for “Hope for Children Program” also shared about compassion and what we can do to help these children who were born in unfortunate circumstances through no fault of theirs.

Rev. Dr. Thomas spoke on the vision and mission of Bethesda House. He defined the meaning of “Bethesda” as an ancient word meaning “House of Mercy”. All humans have these attributes of mercy and compassion and must show them in practical ways to relieve the pain and suffering of the less fortunate of society, especially the children. He said “compassion” is not just a feeling but actually love in action. Rev. Thomas also thanked the donors who had generously given to establish this Hope for Children Mission Centre. He specially mentioned PD Rachel Thomas, FusionExcel’s Founder CEO Mr. Paul Ting and his partner Mr. K.S. Lee. Rev. Thomas encouraged the guests to continue their good work, continue to visit and support the Mission Centre. He also thanked all the members of FusionExcel’s Social Entrepreneurship Program, the Mission Staff and Volunteers who had contributed to this cause.

The children of Bethesda House sang and entertained the guests. Rev. Thomas said a prayer of dedication and officially declared Bethesda House, Hope for Children Mission Centre, officially opened. The dedication service was followed with Hi-Tea and a great time of fun and fellowship.
