FusionExcel Donates Pesos 1 Million To GMA7 Kapuso Foundation

REPORT BY PHILIPPINES COUNTRY LICENSEE AND PRESIDENTIAL DIRECTOR JEREMY LOOI.

Last October was well known Filipino Actress/Model and FusionExcel Endorser, Rhian Ramos' 19th birthday, but instead of celebrating her big day with a lavish party, she chose to help the distressed Typhoon Ondoy flood victims, in collaboration with FusionExcel International and distributed relief goods in Marikina City, Philippines, which was one of the most severely affected areas by Typhoon Ondoy.

A big, mockup cheque of 1 Million Pesos was donated to Rhian Ramos' home TV station’s charity organization, the GMA Kapuso Foundation, Inc., by FE's Philippines Country Licensee, Jeremy Looi along side with Presidential Director Pastor Arthur Medina, Presidential Director Pastor Dave Trinidad and FusionExcel Leader Joy Sta. Teresa.

Rhian Ramos posed with FE's new Quantum Sports Watch. FusionExcel is proud to have an endorser like Rhian who shares FE's vision and who possesses the passion and heart of a true social entrepreneur at such an early age!

On Monday, 15th November 2009, the actual cheque from FusionExcel was presented to GMA Kapuso’s EVP/COO, Carmela Tiangco by Christabel Looi, wife of Jeremy Looi (who was away in Europe on a FusionExcel distributors training/support tour). Rhian Ramos, Lay Ramos (Rhian's mother and incidentally, Christabel’s friend from school since kindergarten days!), Ida Henares - GMA VP and Artist Center Head and Lerida Looi (daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Looi) witnessed the presentation. Carmela Tiangco expressed her sincere gratitude to FusionExcel for the generous donation and the funds will go to GMA Kapuso Foundation’s project of rebuilding schools that have been devastated by Typhoon Ondoy.

Mrs. Looi commented that the social impact of rebuilding schools is wide and deep. The Foundation’s project will help not only the children but their families and the community as a whole, plus the project does not only impact the here and now, but future generations as well. This is very much in line with FusionExcel's values, that of sustainable giving back to the community through its social arm, the "Hope For Children" Charity Fund.
