FusionExcel Congratulates Philippines Spokesmen, Samboy Lim and Allan Caidic For Being Awarded 2009 PBA Hall Of Fame

REPORT FROM PHILIPPINES COUNTRY LICENSEE PRESIDENTIAL DIRECTOR JEREMY LOOI.

FusionExcel proudly congratulates Spokesmen Allan "Triggerman" Caidic and Samboy " Skywalker" Lim for being awarded the 2009 PBA Hall of Fame!

Basketball Superstars Samboy Lim, Allan Caidic and 5 other basketball players, make up the seven-man list for this year’s Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) Hall of Fame awardees which was held last 09 October 2009 in a special awards ceremony at the Rizal Ballroom of the Makati Shangri-La Hotel.

Samboy Lim was regarded as possibly one of the best players never to win the highest individual award – the MVP plum. Injuries riddled his playing career marred by spectacular highlight reels, pains and success. But the former Letran Knight also showed one thing – loyalty.

Samboy Lim was a class act. He was a member of the 1989 grand slam team of San Miguel Beer and became one of the biggest draws in the pro league at a time. “All the hardships that we fought. All the championships that we've won and all the struggles we entered in only to achieve such goals are the things I will never forget," said Samboy Lim.

The greatest three-point shooter in Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) history, Allan Caidic holds the record of most three-point shots converted in a single game (17). Allan led in the votes for the 2009 PBA Hall of Fame batch of inductees.
