FusionExcel Long Drive Golf Challenge 2010, Singapore

The Singapore leg of the FE Long Drive Golf Challenge was held at the Singapore Hunda Classic. The Hunda classic is part of the Asian tour which has events all around the Asian region. At the event some of the world's top golfers compete, including Asian tour's top world ranked player Thongchia Jaidee.

The Long Drive Golf Challenge was held over 2 days with competitors from all over the world competing to be Singapore's Long Drive Champion. Day 1 was an all-day Qualifying event with the leader board changing on a regular basis. FE Quantum Pendant Wearer Daniel Low from Malaysia made a late change to the top of the leader board with a whopping 339 yard drive which was the longest drive of the tournament. Singapore Ladies professional Ji Jai Li won the Ladies Division with a very impressive 256 yards. The seniors were right up there with Graham Cooper leading the qualifiers with 299 yards.

The Saturday Finals was a great success as the long drivers for the first time got to experience the knock out stages of the event. In the Seniors Dilip Gosh beat Tendy Tsia for the Senior Championship and in the Finals Daniel Low beat professional golfer Keng Kwai Kor to be crowned Singapore's FusionExcel Long Drive Champion.

FE also ran a 4 day booth at the event where over 5000 people attended. The booth was a big hit especially the introduction of the new Quantum Shield. At the Gala Dinner FE Spokesperson Jean Daniels presented Asia's top golfer Thongchia Jaidee with a FE Quantum Pendant. Thongchai then presented all the lucky draw winners with their prizes which included the FE's Quantum Science products.

The FE Singapore Long Drive Golf Challenge set new and greater standards for future events and has allowed the future and popularity of the FE's Long Drive Golf Challenge to grow beyond our wildest dreams
