FusionExcel Headquarters Staff Holiday Taipei, Taiwan 24 - 27 September 2010

REPORT BY FE EVENT MANAGER PATRICK CHAN.

FE recently organized a 4 day holiday trip for all its 30 HQ staff to Taipei, Taiwan 24-27th September 2010 as a token of appreciation for their contribution and dedication to the company.

Upon arrival at the 4 Star Taipei Riverview Hotel, the staff wasted no time in scouting and shopping around the Section 1 area near the hotel which was busy, alive and crowded at night with tourists from many countries, all shopping for bargains!

The 2nd day began with breakfast at the hotel's 12th floor restaurant with spectacular views over the Danshui River and the 2 Zhongxing & Zhongxiao bridges! The tour started with a visit to the Chang Kai Shek Memorial Hall. Following we visited Chiu Fen, a prosperous hill top village with many shops selling famous local dishes with breathe taking views overlooking the sea.

Next we visited Yeliu Geopark where 10 to 25 million year old rock formations provided rare and beautiful sights! The rock layers of Yeliu were like pages of a book. They were naturally 'carved' by wind and water erosions into various beautiful shapes like Mushrooms, a Queen's head, Camel head, Honeycombs, a Shoe, etc. From Yeliu, we headed to Yang Ming Shan Pei Tou Hot Spring for a relaxing soaking session in the natural hot springs. At night we visited the beautiful Damshui Fisherman Wharf and the nearby Damshui Old Street with hundreds of shops selling all types of interesting food and merchandise.

The 3rd day began with a visit to the Martyr's Shrine. We arrived on time to watch the changing of the guards who stood motionless with "frozen" eyelids for an entire hour! At the National Palace Museum, we were privileged to see the precious ancient relics of China. We had lunch at the famous Five Cents Drift Wood restaurant. It is a landmark building with spectacular designs ! The trip to Taipei wouldn't be complete without a visit to Taipei 101, the tallest landmark in Taipei & formerly the highest building in the world.

After that the lady staffs went to the Wufenpu Wholesale Fashion Stree for great bargains on fashionable clothings! The male staffs headed to the IT Mall for the latest gadgets. The shopping session continued in the evening at Taipei's largest night market, Shih Lin Night Market! After that it was chill out and clubbing time which finished around 4am in the morning!

Everyone had big smiles on their sleepy faces as they headed to the airport with luggage bags packed to the brim with shopping for departure home to Kuala Lumpur on the last day! It had been an exhausting but fun filled 4 days that went by too quickly! Indeed for some of the new staff, this is their first trip overseas on a plane, an experience they will never forget!

A Big Thank You to our Bosses Mr Paul Ting & Mr KS Lee who has graciously provided this free trip for all of us!
