FusionExcel Sponsors Asian Cricket Council's Women's Twenty20 Championship 2009

REPORT BY SIVANANDAN CHINNADURAI BKM PJK , HON SECRETARY MALAYSIAN CRICKET ASSOC AND ORGANISING CHAIRMAN OF ACC WOMEN'S TWENTY20 CHAMPIONSHIP 2009.

FusionExcel International surprised the Cricket Fraternity in Malaysia and for that matter countries in Asia, when it came forward to support the Malaysian Cricket Association by donating cash and in kind, totaling RM 33,000.00 (Ringgit Malaysia thirty three thousand) towards the Inaugural Asian Cricket Council Women’s Twenty20 Championship which was held in Kuala Lumpur from 03rd – 11th July 2009. Twelve countries participated in this event namely Thailand, Hong Kong, China, Nepal, Malaysia, Iran, Oman, Bhutan, Qatar, Singapore, Kuwait & United Arab Emirates. FusionExcel strongly believes in supporting sports which can play a key role in achieving the 1 Malaysia Vision – more so cricket, which is a world re-known team sport and like all other sports helps in character building.

Apart from donating Ten Thousand Ringgit in cash, FusionExcel International also donated Quantum Flasks and Quantum Pendants to the Malaysian Women’s Team comprising 16 players and 4 officials.

At the official dinner on 08th July 2009, attended by dignitaries, players and officials Mr. K C Phoon, Presidential Director of FusionExcel International presented the mock cheque to HH Tunku Tan Sri Imran, President of Malaysian Cricket Association. Banners were also displayed at the hotel, secretariat and the entrance of the dinner hall. Sales of FusionExcel International items were also conducted at the tournament hotel and many officials from the participating countries showed keen interest in the items.

Mr. K C Phoon also conducted a presentation on FusionExcel International products. As always, many who witnessed the demonstration were totally surprised, some even stunned, by the power of the Quantum Pendant and showed immediate interest on the items.

Malaysian Cricket Association, once again takes great pleasure in extending our sincere appreciation to FusionExcel International particularly Mr. Paul Ting, Chief Executive Officer of FusionExcel International and Mr. K C Phoon for their support in making the Asian Ladies Cricket Event a huge success!
