FE Sponsors RM 300,000 Towards Malaysian Contingent to Asian Para Games 2010, Guangzhou, China

FusionExcel is proud to sponsor RM 300,000.00 (comprising of Quantum Science products) towards the Malaysian Contingent heading to the Asian Para Games 2010 in Guangzhou, China.

About 200 para athletes, guest & VVIPs attended the Jalur Gemilang flag handover ceremony to the contingent at the Residence Hotel, Uniten, Bangi. VVIPs present includes YAB Tun Abdullah Ahmad Badawi (the former Prime Minister of Malaysia), YBhg Tun Jeanne Abdullah (Patron to Malaysia Paralympic Council) & YB Dato' Sri Ahmad Shabery Cheek (Minister of Youth & Sports). VIPs present also include Dato Mohid Mohamed (Secretary-General of the Ministry of Youth & Sports), Dato Salim Parlan (Deputy Secretary-General of the Ministry of Youth & Sports), Tuan Haji Zainal Abidin Alias (Vice President of Malaysia Paralympic Council) & Encik Ahmad Sapawi Ismail (Director of Athletes Division, Majlis Sukan Negara).

Three main sponsors for the Malaysian Contingent includes CIMB Foundation which was represented by its CEO Dato' Mohd Shukri Hussin, Malaysia Airlines which was represented by Encik Hamzah Ayob (MAS Government & Student Travel Manager) & FusionExcel International which was represented by Mr Patrick Chan (FusionExcel Event Manager) & Presidential Director Alan Yeo.

On behalf of FusionExcel International, Mr Patrick Chan presented a RM 300,000 mock cheque to Majlis Sukan Negara (Paralympic Division) which was received on behalf by YB Dato' Sri Ahmad Shabery Cheek and witnessed by YBhg Tun Jeanne Abdullah & Miss Sin Li Jane (FE Spokesperson & National Bowling Champion). Sin Li Jane on behalf of FE later also presented gifts to YB Dato' Sri Ahmad Shabery Cheek, YBhg Tun Jeanne Abdullah & YAB Tun Abdullah Ahmad Badawi.

Wushu exponent Chai Fong Ying, who was Malaysia's first gold medallist at the Asian Games in Guangzhou recently, also made a grand appearance with the Malaysian flag to the thunderous applause of all the athletes. Mohd Salam Sidik, who is currently ranked No.1 wheelchair-bound archer in the world and also the flag bearer for Malaysia at the Games was seen wearing FE's Quantum Pendant beside Ms Law King Kiew (FE Spokesperson & Asian Para Games Double Gold Medallist Champion).

The contingent is targeting eight gold medals which are expected to come from athlete, archery, badminton, swimming and tenpin bowling. FE wishes our Malaysian Contingent great success in the Asian Para Games 2010 & hope that our Quantum Science products will help them perform better & clinch more gold medals for Malaysia! Malaysia Boleh!!
