The International Deaf Youth Camp was organized to promote international sharing and understanding through living and working together providing opportunities for cultural exchanges, fellowship and networking among deaf youths and creating opportunities for the development of self-esteem, self confidence and self-reliance.

Among the activities held during the 7 Days Camp was team building, (sessions/activities). We had Cultural Exchanges through traditional games, handicrafts, dances and outdoor activities to foster mutual understanding and fellowship and excursions to highlight the natural, historical and cultural heritage of Penang.

FE Founder Director Mr. KS Lee presented a mock cheque of RM 53,000 which was received on behalf by Mr Geh Cheng Lock, President of National Council of YMCA Malaysia & President of MCA Penang.

The sports carnival held at the Federation School for the Deaf was attended by nearly 600 parents, members of the public, deaf individuals and their families. They were seen wearing the attractive T-shirts which were sponsored by FusionExcel. Various games and food stalls were set up on that day. FE Spokesperson & former World Badminton Champion Mr. Foo Kok Keong was also present at the carnival and conducted Quantum Pendant demonstrations to the amazement of the campers.
