FE is proud to sponsor RM 62,000 (comprising of Quantum Science Scalar Energy Products) towards the 7 Summits Expedition which was officially launched by Duli Yang Teramat Mulia Tuanku Syed Faizuddin Putra Ibni Tuanku Syed Sirajuddin Putra Jamalullail (Tuanku Raja Muda Perlis) at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport on 24th March 2010.
Mr Patrick Chan, FE's Event Manager, presented a mock cheque of RM 62,000 on behalf of FE to DYTM Tuanku Syed Faizuddin Putra Ibni Tuanku Syed Sirajuddin Putra Jamalullail at the event.
The earth is known to have 7 continents; namely, North America, South America, Antarctic, Asia, Europe, Africa and the Australian Continent.
On each of these continent stands a highest mountain which has become a dream of professional climbers from all over the world to conquer it. Thus the name “7 Summits” which includes Mount Everest in Nepal, Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania, Mount Mc Kindley in USA, Mount Aconcagua in Argentina, Mount Vinson Massif in Antartica, Mount Kosciousko in Australia, Mount Elbrus in Russia or Mount Cartzen Pyramid in Indonesia.
To date less than 300 climbers have succeeded in climbing the 7 Summits and in South East Asia, only one climber had accomplished it.
Mr. Muhamad Muqharabbin A.K.A. Qobin, who is also FE's Spokesman, became the 1st Malaysian Bumiputera to conquer Mount Everest in 2004 and now Mr Qobin has set himself another challenge, to conquer the 7 Summits with the mission of bringing the message of “One Malaysia”, making this expedition a symbol of unity in Malaysia.
FE is proud to sponsor Mr Qobin for this event & wishes him great success in achieving this feat. Mr Qobin will also be bringing FE's flag to the Summits of these 7 highest mountains.
