FusionExcel Golf Long Drive Challenge 2010 - Asia Finals

FusionExcel's Long Drive Golf Challenge 2010 - Asia Finals were held at the Mines Public driving range on 03rd October 2010. All the champions and qualifiers from around the region gathered to see who will be crowned as FusionExcel Asia's Long Drive Golf Champion.

With almost no wind conditions and a very wet grid, all the hitters had to focus on a pure carry. With favourite Daniel Loh and big hitting pro Hanafia Jamil out on injuries, the competition was wide open. All the big names quickly made their mark in the seeding rounds.

The Ladies Division was dominated by Kalpana from Sungai Petani Malaysia. The Seniors Division was a great fight with Loo Keng Yip's last ball winner taking out K. Gunarlan. In the Open Division Shaun Measday's consistent 320 + hitting was enough to see off all the challengers to dominate the finals. Special mention goes to Nicholas Smith who hit an incredible 350 yard no roll; all carry tee shot in the semi finals to beet Jason Voon.

Overall FusionExcel's Long Drive Golf Challenge 2010 was a Great Success and we look forward to 2011
