Swiss Trading Sdn Bhd @VICO for the Vico drinks provided free for the children and adults.

(2) Entertainers / Performers:

The Singing Twin Sisters kicked off the day’s program by their exhilarating song and dance routine followed by the appearance of the evergreen and ever popular Mickey and Minnie Mouse from the Calvary Sunshine Kids, not forgetting the entertaining Clowns giving out multi-colored balloons! They were followed by the Joylee Magic Group who gave a stunning jaw-dropping performance to make it a magical time indeed for the children. Persatuan Wusu Sabah amazed the children with their enthralling and artistic Kung Fu moves and to wrap up the day, three Lions from the Persatuan Buddhist Lions Dance Troop Tawau gave a thrilling throbbing demonstration of their skills and agility to the children and adults alike, many of whom had never had the opportunity to witness and experience such a roaring grrr…rrreat time! Besides the food, drinks and eye-popping entertainment, the children were also given each a bagful of goodies, presents, and special FusionExcel souvenir cuddly teddies to take home. Just to see their happy faces were inspirational and heart-warming enough and made it all worth the effort! Acknowledgement, grateful thanks and kudos to FusionExcel for their kind encouragement and support in giving Tawau the opportunity for organizing such a fun filled afternoon and a wonderful unforgettable time for the under privileged children of the local community.

We wish to thank the following FusionExcel Leaders and their team of volunteers for their hard work and generous unstinting contributions towards this event: The Organizing Chairperson Presidential Director Avis Yong, Presidential Director Roderick Goh and yours truly, Richard Pang…. together with their enervating downlines in Tawau – you know who you are! A big THANK YOU to all

FusionExcel Celebrates Hope for Children World Carnival Day in Manila, Philippines, 29th May 2010

REPORT BY PRESIDENTIAL DIRECTOR ART TUASON.

May 29th 2010 was a big day for FusionExcel in many parts of the world as it was also in the Philippines. It was Children's World Carnival Day during which more than a thousand kids were to experience the goodness of the Lord through FusionExcel and the many FE volunteers who helped make their day. The impoverished kids, ages 7-12 years old, from marginalized tribal communities and the poorest of the poor were treated to a good lunch, entertainment, medical treatment, t-shirts, snacks, scalarized bottled water, etc. in Pintong Bocawe, San Mateo, Rizal.

PD Jayjay Lizarondo and his brother, Pastor RJ, did a herculean job of putting everything in place at the venue. From the immediate area came 500 kids. From the tribal communities in the nearby hills came an additional 300 kids. Similarly, 200 kids from Payatas, Valenzuela and Caloocan were bused in by Pastor Ruel Abanto and Pastor Ed. Ttowardsnoon, an additional hundred or so from the town were likewise accorded the same blessings from FusionExcel.

The thousand-plus kids were divided into 10 groups, each representing one of 10 countries of the ASEAN, thus giving the event an international flavor. Each group then paraded down to their assigned sitting areas in the community covered courts where they were given their lunches and goody bags.

FE Spokesmen Samboy Lim and Allan Caidic were there to grace the occasion too. So did Cory Quirino and her crew who did interviews and filming for her TV show. Our 10-year old child prodigy singer Clark Gamul gave very inspiring songs that should encourage all the youngsters there to rise above themselves and hopefully overcome their poverty. Likewise, song and dance numbers were rendered by various youth groups from the local church and the community. And of course, there was PD Pastor Art Medina who addressed the crowd to explain the aims and the projects of FE's Hope For Children through partnership programs with NGO's like HOP-E Foundation. PD Art Medina expounded on the holistic aims of "HOPE H.E.L.P.S.", where the acronym "H.E.L.P.S." stand for --

H - Health programs
E - Environment preservation
L - Livelihood programs
P - Portable water
S - Scholarship programs

"Overall, it was very touching to see young boys and girls enjoying themselves and even relishing their hot meals! Follow-through projects are already in the works." - Presidential Director and Social Entrepreneur, Arthur Tuason.

"On behalf of the Hop-E Foundation, I extend my warmest and sincerest thanks to the staff and officials of FusionExcel, as well as the Project coordinator of FusioneExcel's Hope for Children, for graciously supporting our foundation’s feeding program. On May 29, Hop-E and its partners converged to benefit more than a thousand kids (Tribes and locals) in San Mateo. The children enjoyed nutritious food generously shared by our partners, "Vitalac" who provided milk products. These kids were not only physically satisfied, they were also emotionally nourished through the love and care demonstrated by our volunteers. Change is truly is in our hands, and nothing is impossible if people work together. With supportive partners such as FusionExcel and Hope for Children, I believe we could truly change the whole world one kid at a time. Mabuhay and Thank You! " - Presidential Director and Social Entrepreneur, Jayjay Lizarondo.

Hope For Children World Carnival Day in Johore Bahru, Malaysia, 29th May 2010

REPORT BY FE LEAD TEAM DIRECTOR KC CHEW.

Squeals of laughter & screams of joy reverberated in Tai Son Seafood Restaurant, Taman Molek, as 150 children from Pusat Kebajikan Kalvari and the Pusphanesam Home were feted to a scrumptious lunch in celebration of FusionExcel's Hope For Children World Carnival Day on 29th May 2010. Providing the magical touch was everyone’s favorite clown, Ms.Sweetie who had the children in stitches with her antics.

The program’s MCs Directors Bernard and Angelina Wong kicked off the event with a short brief on the objectives of the function and a video screening of “Christmas for Payatas” which is the catalyst for this global event. This was followed by PD Stephen Tan and Christ Chan’s welcoming speeches.

The enthusiastic children from both homes also put up songs & dance routines much to the appreciation of the adults.

The children were pleasantly surprised when PD Christ Chan announced that her mother Madam Wong Soon Loo will be celebrating her 72nd birthday with all children whose birthday falls within the month. It was “ang pow” galore for all the kiddies!

Certificates of Appreciation were given out to sponsors by PD Stephen Tan followed by PD Doreen Tan with her closing speech where she expressed her hope that this Hope For Children event will be made an annual affair. Gratitude was also expressed to all present especially the children, sponsors, organizing committee & volunteers from LEAD Team.

For the finale, the children were chaperoned for a tour of the life seafood holding area to view the Alaskan crabs, giant lobsters, groupers and other exotic sea creatures before boarding their buses home.

To wind up the event, LEAD Team members also visited Life Link Home in Megaria, Masai, Johor bahru where goods from sponsors were delivered to a much appreciative group of children.

It was indeed a memorable day for all involved.

One Clap! SUCCESS! AHOO! AHOO!! AHOO!!!
